The most important RED wine grapes are: Primitivo, Negroamaro, Black Malvasia, Nero di Troia, Aglianico, Bombino Nero, Ottavianello, Sussumaniello. The most important WHITE wine grapes are: Fiano, Locorotondo, White Malvasia, Verdeca, Bombino Bianco.

About our wine tours in Puglia Italy:
Come and learn about the local grapes and wines from Puglia in Southern Italy. Learn about the different types of grapes from Puglia and how to pair wine and food! Our wine tours feature several private visits of different wine producers and vineyards. Every day you will be tasting many different native grapes and learn about the local producers' way of making high quality wines. In season, you will have a chance to attend the grape harvest! Our wine tours are organized by Cinzia Rascazzo who is a wine sommelier and extra virgin olive oil taster. Cinzia also works as a consultant for some of the best wine and olive oil companies. You will have a chance to meet the wine producers or oenologists and learn all the details of the local wines.
Accommodation:
For the accommodation, you have the option to stay at the Stile Mediterraneo Palace House, located nearby the best wine and extra virgin olive oil areas in Salento Puglia. The Stile Mediterraneo palace house is 10 minutes from the Lecce historical center and off the tourist tracks.
If you prefer other accommodations, we will be happy to refer you to the best boutique hotels, bed and breakfasts or villas with pools.
