This is a 4 night / 5 day program, available from January to December. During the Carnival time it will be a unique opportunity to experience the special flavors and traditions of Puglia.

Stile Mediterraneo Cooking and Wine School organize cooking classes and culinary tours in Puglia Italy YEAR ROUND.
About our workshops and classes:
Cooking classes are HANDS ON, in ENGLISH and for SMALL GROUPS.
You will learn how to make hand made orecchiette pasta with durum wheat and just with your thumb! You will prepare traditional recipes from the home made cuisine of Puglia.
Cooking classes will be accompanied by excellent extra virgin olive oils and wines from Puglia Italy.
The culinary tour includes visits of the best artisans and markets. You will taste fresh cheese and mozzarella hand made in front of you!
You will learn how to taste extra virgin olive oils. You will visit excellent wineries and taste famous wines from Puglia.
About Puglia cuisine:
Puglia cuisine is the typical Mediterranean cuisine based on lots of extra virgin olive oil, hand made fresh pasta, lots of vegetables, fresh cheese and mozzarella and of course the amazing tomatoes!
Recipes are simple, but still delicious because made with fresh and very tasty ingredients.

Accommodation:
For the accommodation you may choose to stay at the Stile Mediterraneo House, which provides bed and breakfast accommodation in an elegant historical palace, off the tourist tracks and close to a famous DOC wine and olive oil area in Puglia.
This is a unique opportunity to experience the Italian family atmosphere.
If you prefer other accommodations, we will be happy to suggest other very nice bed and breakfasts and hotels conveniently located to attend our classes.

Booking and Deposit:
After availability is confirmed, a non-refundable 30% deposit and the completed and submitted registration form will secure your reservation. Final payment is due in full 60 days before your arrival date.
Cancellation:
Client may cancel the reservation at any time, provided that the cancellation is notified in writing. The following cancellation charges will be applied and it will be calculated from the day when written notification is completed and received : (1) if a client cancels 30 days before arrival - Forfeit of deposit; (2) 29 days or less – 100%. We reserve the right to cancel any tours at any time in which case full refunds will be made. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
Occasionally changes must be made in a scheduled program because of circumstances beyond control, but the school will make every effort to find an equally interesting alternative.
Directions to Stile Mediterraneo:
If you fly, closest airport is Brindisi. You can rent a car at the airport or we can help you organizing a private transfer. For domestic flight connections from Rome or Milan to Brindisi please check:
There are direct flights available from London and Paris. If you come by train, fast trains stop both in Brindisi and Lecce. A private transfer may be organized for you from Brindisi or Lecce train station.
Arrival/Departure Times:
Check-in time will be anytime after 2 pm. Check-out time is 11 am.
